I have always enjoyed making things for my children to play with or designing something to solve stupid or non existant problems.

BrightWoodUK was created from my love of making.
Like many new makers, wood was an obvious choice when starting out, as it is relitivley cheap, easily accessable and rather forgiving. I have recently purchased a CNC mill and have been turning my rough pen sketches into 3D models in preporation for milling and experimentation into the 3rd Dimension.
I have enjoyed graphic design for many years and this new journey into 3dimensions has sparked another creative avenue for me, which I am enjoying immensely.
I look forward to creating and sharing many more unique items.
