Anthro collections are designed by Phillip Moloughney; a designer, arborist and architect from Melbourne, Australia. Pieces are inspired not only by the natural world, but more so by the intersections and contradictions between the natural and the man-made built environments. Designed with inherent meaning and symbolism, each piece expresses a different message and intent. Anthro aspires to create wearable architecture that stimulates conversation around the environment and what its future holds.

The ‘Seed’ collection is inspired by our natural world and the opposing ever growing concrete metropolis we live in. As the world’s environments are exponentially altered, the everyday landscape has become more and more alien from our natural origins. Each piece of the ‘Seed’ collection symbolically questions our future environments and helps bring awareness of the importance of nature within them.
