Update: http://shpws.me/MbCD
I have lowered the size of the mouth attachment. This will solve any of the attachment problems with the precious metal prints!
mingles@Benjilios Apologies for my delay. Shapeways' steel is only suitable for low resolution models with large wall thicknesses. I'm afraid the model isn't suitable for such a print.
mingles@Dimensioner The mouthpiece was made slightly larger than usual to compensate for the S&F polishing process as my original tests for it exact size resulted in it being loose. The subtractive effect of polishing must've been slightly less on your model than I experienced..Does it fit on the head with a decent amount of force?
mingles@danguyf Apologies for my delay. It may be that the support material hasn't been removed properly. Have you tried scraping the front with a pin? If that isn't the case, try emailing service@shapeways.com. They should be able to help you out.
mingles@momsav Hi there, My apologies about the snap. I'm assuming it was ordered in the Frosted Ultra Detail. The material is very brittle and must be handled with care, especially when attaching to and removing from a minifigure head. Please email service@shapeways.com and they can help you out.
