We believe providing real-life 3D models in group sessions with an Cardiac ultrasound expert guiding trainees helps better develop a concrete and tactile reference. Additionally, the 3D models permit larger groups to receive instruction at once, as a single expert can lead a group limited only by the number of 3D heart models available. Ultimately, we think the models improve image acquisition among our trainees and enhance their ability to recognize key anatomical structures.
These models were created at the Georgetown Internal Medicine Residency program. There is a small markup on the models that will be used for minor support for the Georgetown IM residency POCUS program. Unfortunately we cannot share these digital files as they are being used for future developments.
