Hydravions Franco-British Aviation (F.B.A.) built several flying boats during WWI, and the Type H was the most numerous. In fact, it may have been the most numerous flying boat of the entire war, with 982 built in Italy and several hundred in France. They were also used in small numbers by Belgium, Spain, the U.K., and the U.S.A.
(Only one unpainted flying boat is included in this product -- pictures showing more than one or painted miniatures merely show off the potential in the hands of a talented painter.)
This model comes in 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales. The 1:285 model features a propeller disk rather than a propeller blades.
DESIGNER NOTE:
Models at scales smaller than 1:144 may no longer be available. Shapeways discontinued the material for which they were designed, and the newer materials require that each and every model be adjusted to thicken surfaces like wings. If you are interested in a particular model in a small scale, please let me know and I will prioritize it higher in the queue.
