Product Description
This N scale concrete deck bridge is based on a Reading prototype (14/08 on the Newtown Branch), but similar examples could be found all over the system. It has a diamond date stamp of 1924 on one side, and I will take requests for other dates. It pairs well with my N scale handrail stanchion 12-pack. Note: to keep costs down, the underside of the bridge is open, but use the openings to measure two pieces of .080" styrene and glue them to the convenient ledges inside, and your bridge is ready to go. The center must be supported by a "stone" or "concrete" pier, since in 1:1 scale the bridge was made from two separate slabs. A portion of all proceeds benefits the Anthracite Railroads Historical Society and the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society.
