This part is intended to be used as part of a butane burner system for a model locomotive. The miracle of 3D printing is harnessed to create a hollow box with air vents and 140 holes for the flaming jets. This single part replaces 10 brass parts, 28 screws and all the effort to make and fit them. It is likely that the buyer will need to perform some additional minor cleaning to thoroughly remove all the white residue from the printing process. It is no big deal - use a needle to poke through any partially clogged jet holes and rinse well. The purchaser will need to machine two burner inlet elbows and silver solder them to complete the burner box assembly as detailed in
Ed Hume's book, A Climax Class A Live Steam Locomotive. There is more information on the book and locomotive design at http://Model-Shop.net.
