The Vajra is a ritual weapon, symbolising both the properties of a diamond, and a thunderbolt. The Vajra originates from dharma traditions (Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism), as a mythical weapon wielded by the god Indra. The symbol used around the outside of this ring, is a Vajra, and the symbol presented on top of this ring, are two Vajra's connected together to form a cross, which represents the physical world. This is called the Vishvavajra. This ring also includes within its design a curved inside surface for a comfortable fit.
