There is a wire channel for a LED to be mounted in the pommel. I recommend a pre-wired SMD LED like this one:

When mounting the soundboard, place it with the SD card toward the emitter of the saber and up as pictured in the listing. Its recommended to cut the wires running from the emitter section of the chassis to the pommel section of the chassis at a length that allows the pommel section to slide out for access to the recharge port and sound board. You can also use Dean's micro connectors to make the pommel section completely removable.
