Product Description
The design of this ring was based on a wrought iron window in Jerusalem, Israel. The form of this ring was a serendipitous accident in Rhino that came out for the awesome.
On a cultural level, Serendipity bridges the gap between a timeworn aesthetic and 3D CAD technology, creating with ease what would have taken blacksmiths who forged those centuries-old intricate window bars weeks or months to accomplish.
I would use a Formlabs printer to create a model of the ring using its clear resin material which I would stain somehow (Sharpies, anyone?) or just sell black resin prints as-is for that tribal look. It seems Formlabs' resin hasn't been tested for casting jewelry yet so I and some fellow cohorts would want to give that a try using different variables/materials.
Serendipity can get a little prickly on the back if you don't size it right. Can be sized to order for no extra charge - please contact me.
