Product Description
Theobromine is a xanthine alkaloid found naturally in cacao and some teas, and is the major flavor of chocolate. The structure of theobromine is related to that of caffeine, but mising one methyl group. Not surprisingly, theobromine has a similar mode of action to caffeine and also binds to adenosine receptors, but with less affinity than caffeine. Theobromine has a lower stimulatory effect than caffeine due to this binding difference.
In this design, nitrogen and oxygen atoms are indicated by text embedded in the spheres and all double bonds are represented.
The pendant is approximately 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide and 2.5 cm (1 inch) long below the loop.
