Product Description
This is a conjectural Lower guard ("Crossguard") of a Late Saxon sword. The originals tended to be made of Iron broadly equivalent of today's heritage "Wrought" Iron (NOT mild steel), but you could easily have this cast in Bronze, too.

The Hole for the tang is much too small, and intentionally done this way so you can enlarge the hole to suit your sword's dimensions.
