Torii, Myojin style (Japanese Gate)

A Torii in the Myojin style, with curved kasagi and shimaki. Traditionally, a Torii denotes a transition between the mundane and sacred (marking an entrance to a sacred space), and is commonly found at the entrance of or inside Shinto shrines.
