Tired of the sweaty rubber band that Disney provides as your mode of entry to the parks - or even all of Walt Disney World as a whole? I certainly was, and created this as an alternative.
What is a MagicBand?
A MagicBand is your key to the Walt Disney Resort, offering entry to the parks, your hotel room, and used for the managment of your reservations. Disney provides one with each resort stay, offering several colors for you to chose from before you arrive. These bands are made of hard rubber with a plastic "icon" held in the center, sculpted as a one-size-fits-all solution. Of course, one-size-fits-all doesn't mean it fits all well.
What does this do?
This holder fits the icon in the center of the magic band, and with it carries the exact same functuality as any other MagicBand provided by Disney or sold in their parks. This model is designed to hold these icons on 20mm strap-style watchbands, such as NATO nylon straps. This holder is water-proof and tested in the parks for fit and shock damage.
Assembly of the Final Product
On the back of all Disney MagicBands are two small screws. Use these to free the Icon from the band, and then pop the icon into the holder with slight pressure. Then, follow instructions online to find out how to install your specific strap-style watch band. Please remember to register the Icon or MagicBand with your Disney Account or park ticket prior to attempting to enter the park.
