Product Description
Very similiar to the amulet I made to represent Wepwawet-Re, this one comes without the protective uraeus and is as a solar version of the jackal god Anubis is occasionally depicted. More common to later periods, Anubis as a guaranteer of rebirth and also as a son of Re and god of the East (an obsure reference), is sometimes shown with only the plain sun disk upon his head.
There is no reason why this amulet could not also represent any of the other solar jackals however, depending upon one's preference.
