Product Description
Acropora is a genus of small stony coral and a major component of coral reefs. Several species of this genus are referred to as elkhorn or staghorn coral due to their antler-like shapes. Growing in dense bush-like thickets, Acropora provide a safe hiding place for fish and other coral reef organisms. Acropora species are especially sensitive coral bleaching due to ocean warming and loss of their algal symbionts.
The coral structure on the Acropora ring is 2 cm (0.8 inches) in diameter. The ring is U.S. size 7, but if you would like a different size, please contact the designer.
