Robert Stephenson Hawthorn Ugly locos
Seven locos built in 1950 by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn for Stewart & Lloyds steelworks at Corby .Two more supplied in 1954 and 1958.
Due to the short saddle tank and larger firebox known as the Uglies.
Five locos preserved.
Based on original drawing but with round cab windows in place of rectangle ones in drawings. Steps as per drawings, but photos suggest thesewere either modified or supplied with different steps.
Requires finishing off, wheels etc
