Product Description
When opened the W&LLR only had 2 vehicles (both closed cattle vans) for the conveyance of Livestock to Market in Welshpool. This was obviously not enough and in 1911 6 open wagons were converted to carry sheep by removing the old ends and sides, and installing removable ends and sides. The sides were removable as these wagons were also intended to act as match wagons for timber traffic. These models represent the Sheep Wagons in flat wagon condition after the GWR had replaced their brake gear.
These vehicles are designed to use 8mm dia wheels.
