Lakota was a female gray wolf who lived at the International Wolf Center from 1993 to 2008. Her hobbies included running, digging subterranean lairs, taking objects that belonged to humans, climbing onto tall things, and playing with her packmates. Over her lifetime, she educated thousands of people about her species through her role as an ambassador animal. As she was one of my early inspirations, it was only a matter of time before I sculpted her :)
