Product Description
Hypothetical reconstruction of the Kii class battleships were not they cancelled at Washington in 1922, with a similar approach taken to the Nagato class, as it would have appeared in the early 1940s. The ship's bow has been flared outwards, bulges fitted to the hull sides, the superstructure reconstructed with a heavy pagoda tower and the two funnels trunked into one to limit smoke interference around the bridge; an offset catapult has been fitted aft with a crane for seaplane spotters and two secondary battery guns removed to save weight for a new AA battery, consisting of eight twin 12.7 cm mounts and six triple 25 mm AA machine guns.
