812 Tender 3000 Gallon - EM-P4 Chassis

For EM & P4, the brake pads and widths are set to fit both gauges, however, use a few washers to set things where you want them.

When using this chassis please use some 2mm 'Straw Hatt' bushes, ream out the holes first if needed and afterwards.  You'll likey want to use some 2mm washers also to set the correct amount of side ways play depending on your preferances.  Being resin it can be a bit brittle so take care we fitting the wheels and handling around the brake gear etc.  You can sometimes get away without using these bearings although over time the chassis is likely to wear out if you do.

Once the wheels are fitted, the front of the chassis where the representational brake rigging is may need clipping where it joins to the chassis main.

To fit the chassis to the body it slides in at the front and the rear is brought flush with the bottom, add a 10BA nut n bolt or similar.    The resin will self tap a few times although adding a nut is a good idea.  If the hole or front is a wee tight, don't force things, just gently ream out or file for a flush fit.
