Product Description
This is a seventy-nine-sided die (d79). According to the pamphlet for the original Zocchihedron, Lou Zocchi's first attempt at creating a spherical configuration for his d100 resulted in a configuration with seventy-nine points on the sphere, which this product is based on. It is not known (at least to me) the exact method Zocchi used to produce the spherical configurations; though his final product can imply that he possibly employed a "latitudinal" approach, that is, evenly spreading out set polar angles to make "rings" on the sphere,  spreading out points evenly on these "rings" to generate points on the sphere to be truncated.
