WARNING!!! The hook in this print comes out quite sharp! I have made myself bleed with this pendant more than once. Be careful, it could happen to you also. Purchase at your own risk! I accept no liability should you injure yourself.
This piece is inspired from my love of mythology. The rib cage is an image that has alway represented, for me, a personal strength that comes from inside oneself. The hook at the base of the spine is a direct reference to story of Maui hooking the ocean floor and pulling up the Hawaiian Islands.
This pendant is base on a much larger (24 inches) wood sculpture that I made.
