Product Description
Geometry: Six Spot Cube is a contour-cut variant of Eitan Cher's Ivy Cube. With Six Spot Cube the cutting pattern changed to reveal a circle on each face of the cube, rather than the leaf pattern on the Ivy Cube. The puzzle scrambles and solves in exactly the same way as the Ivy Cube, but the contoured slices add a bit of mystery as it may not be immediately apparent how the puzzle turns.
Other Items Needed: Dye: If you want the puzzle to be black, you can dye the pieces yourself with a nylon dye such as RIT or Dylon. Stickers: Template available in the tips & how-tos forum. If you want professionally cut stickers, I recommend Oliver’s Stickers or Chewie's Custom Stickers. Screws: Four 12mm M3 pan head screws required, available in hardware stores or on the web. Springs: Four springs needed, available in web puzzle shops. I get mine from HK Now Store.
Degree of Difficulty: Assembly: Very easy to assemble. Solving: Very easy to solve.
Playability: Six Spot Cube turns very smoothly, and the mechanism is stable.
