The Lysian Destroyer from TNG: "Conundrum" was a reuse of the Talarian Warship, but the model was changed before this episode to represent a derelict hulk in the Qualor II Surplus Depot. For that, the four large wings (solar panels?) were removed, and the wedge shaped wings from the engine section (warp drive?) put there instead. For the Lysian Destroyer, two of the large wings were then reattached to the ship's center, but now on top of the central hull in a slightly different angle. The original configuration of the Talarian Warship seems to be used by not only the Talarians, but at least by five other species too, and so it is possible that this is either a Lysian modification of a Talarian Warship, or a (lighter) Talarian variant in the first place. The fact that those ships in both episodes are considered to be highly inferior to the Enterprise, with weapons so weak, it even wouldn't be necessary for the Enterprise to raise shields, is also a reason why these two designs could be related. The only odd thing is, that the Lysian ship is shown upside down. In all other appearances of the model, the superstructures on the front hull were facing upward. This and the mention that the Lysian Destroyer had only a crew of 53 might be a sign that it is supposed to be of a different design and size than the Talarian ship. But the orientation can be explained as there is no up and down in space anyway and the ship might have flipped over just before it gets on screen, to bring the belly mounted main weapon to bear on the Enterprise, that was approaching from above. It also might have been to protect the vulnerable wings (solar panels?). This is why i use the same size as the Talarian Warship and the same orientation for this model.
