After deciding that so-called "Helping Hands" weren't terribly helpful, I set myself to making a better version. I saw several ideas online made out of flexible tubing and realized that I had an SLR GorillaPod that would work great.
Gorilla Hands are cups that attach to the legs of a JOBY Gorrillapod SLR or Hybrid (not the ORIGINAL Gorillapod, which is much smaller). The Gorillapod is attached to a base or bench either by replacing the screw in the camera mount, or by use of the more stable clip available separately in my store. The cups have holes into which alligator clips can be glued (Use Gorilla Glue for maximum Gorilla)
This is only one hand: the straight "cone."
