VITE AEREA.Codex B (2173), c.83v. Leonardo da Vinci
A working model inspired by Leonardo's "Aerial Screw", the first attempt ever to design a helicopter. Designed by Leonardo to "spiral up in the air".
The set comes assembled and consists of two main parts (stator and rotor) and a base. The base contains a plate with the machine's name in italian written in a blackletter typeface and Leonardo's name written in a font inspired by his very own handwriting.
