Geometry:
LunaMinx is a puzzle based on an alternate sweet spot for the pentagonal trapezohedron. This particular alternate geometry was discovered after the development of the previous GallaTrap puzzle. Matt Galla confirmed the ability of the LunaMinx to scramble, and helped name the new puzzle. Curved cuts were used for the LunaMinx in order to give all pieces a robust connection to the mechanism. Despite being an alternate sweet spot geometry, LunaMinx can scramble quite thoroughly, and has a very unusual 180 degree jumbling move!
