Project Mercury Kit 1/6 scale with all parts included! This is an accurate scale model kit of the Navy Mark 4 Pressure Suit which was adapted by NASA for use in Project Mercury. This helmet was used on all flights with slight variations. This kit can be used to make your own 12" display Astronaut.
Features:
1. Visor assembly is now two parts; either paint the included opaque Visor Shield or order the optional clear Visor Shield for best accuracy. We now offer vacuum-formed visors for this helmet. Visit: www.FullEarthWorkshop.com
2. Includes an updated helmet bearing to reflect most flight-worn suits.
3. Visor pivot point has been improved to allow more realistic rotation.
