Product Description
Built for the London Brick Company by Sentinel's in 1929, Nutty and her sister locomotives were built for the 2'11" Gauge network at the companies Hicks No.1 Works in Fletton, Huttingdonshire.
Nutty was withdrawn in 1964 and purchased by the Narrow Gauge Railway Society, before being loaned to the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway where it was regauged. Nutty worked on the W&LLR between 1965 and 1971 before being handed back the NGRS and sent to Tywyn. From here Nutty later moved to Railword at Peterborough, before moving again to Whipsnade and finally to the LBNGR where she has been reassembled at Stonehenge Works and is on display.
This model is designed to fit onto the TU-13CL Chassis. The chassis only has a 4.5 Volt motor and will require a resistor (around 120 ohm) to be fitted to prevent damage when used with 12 Volt controllers.
