Embraer ERJ145ER

Known as the "Jungle Jet" by it's pilots, this twin-engine airliner is a product of the famous Embraer. Built with the regional 40-50 seat market in mind, it was meant to provide the affordability, range and speed that regional turboprops could not. The original design went through several iterations, with engine pods built into the wings mid-span, then under the wings, and finally with the rear-mounted T-tail design we see today.

This desk model is not built to any specific scale. It is between 1:144 and 1:200 scale. There were no realistic or practical options for scaling between these two (too big, and too small) so I built it to the required material tolerances only. Enjoy!
