Pendant n°2 is inspired by the painting At the French Windows - The Artist's Wife By Danish artist L.A. Ring. The pendant was designed for the National Gallery of Denmark Collection Jewelry Design Contest.
The layers refer to the moulding process in classical sculpting, to temporary shelter, protection and taking care of things. After finishing the design, I realised there was a resemblance between this figure and some prehistoric statuettes of woman. That's why I chose Venus as title.
