Product Description
Diesel frugality and hardtop coupe style may seem like odd bedfellows, but the timing was right for the Mercedes-Benz 300CD to be the height of fuel crisis chic. Exclusive to the North American market, the diesel coupe gained a turbocharger in 1982, bringing performance nearly into the range of acceptability for the price and prestige of a Mercedes two-door. This model represents the C123 coupe as it appeared on the American market from 1978-85, with the optional "Bundt" alloy wheels.
This 1:64-scale ready-to-paint and assemble kit comes with body, base, interior, dashboard with steering wheel, Federal bumpers, wheels, and tires. Body, base, and tires snap together—no additional materials required. Glue recommended for smaller pieces.
