1/87 Walter N-series Snow Fighter

The Walter N series Snow Fighters were made from 1975 until the late 1990s.  The model includes Walter's unique drive system in which ring gears on the wheels are powered by pinion gears on small axles located above dead axles that carry the weight of the truck.  It also includes Walter's design of locating the leaf spring suspension under the frame instead of the sides. The  model includes a 5-7 yard dump body (10ft long).  To reduce cost, no fuel tanks, batteries, etc are included. Revised Oct 1, 2018: front fenders, dump body width, wheel track, added transfer case.
