Spaceship for High Frontier boardgame (or anything else you fancy).
It's a russian-style ship (inspired from Energia launcher, TKS ship, and with belt radiators).
Dimensions are 50mm long, 25mm high, 24.6mm wide (1.97" l, 0.98" h, 0.97" w)
It has a 3mm diameter (0.12") hole under to fit on a flight stand (Litko, stuff4games, Hawk Wargames, or equivalent).
Check the High Frontier and Fleet Commander sections of my shop for more S-F stuff.
The model comes unpainted. It has a single colour.
If you want to paint it, the process is almost identical to any regular plastic miniature. Some recommendations:
- With White Plastic : Wash the model, to remove any remaining nylon powder. Use soapy water, rub with toothbrush, rinse, let dry. Spray prime (you can apply more primer coats than usual, though), paint, spray varnish.
- With Fine Detail Plastic only : Wash the model, to remove any remaining wax. Approx. 3 minutes in acetone, or approx. 30 minutes in denaturated alcohol, or approx. 30 minutes in Simple Green. Rub gently with a toothbrush, rinse with water, let dry. Spray prime, paint, spray varnish.
Due to manufacturing tolerances, the 3mm hole might need some rework to fit nicely on the flight stand's peg.
The flight stand is
not included, of course.
