hi shapeways, we have an increasing collection of customizable products on suuz[dot]com. is it possible to automatically upload the entire products as sellable models on shapeways? i see it's possible to use your api to upload a model and mark it as 'for sale', but; - how do i upload photo's to the model? - how do i mark it as a 'personalizable' product? is it possible to add these functionalities to the development queue? or am i missing smth? thx! Yes, it is possible to upload individual models to Shapeways thru their API. If you then use POST /models/{modelId}/photos/v1 you can also upload photos. I do not think that you can turn a model into a Co-Creator however. You would have to either do that step manually, or you would have to do the customization on your website before it is uploaded to Shapeways.
Hi Tony, Thanks a ton! i was just looking at the wrong function clearly I see now; the co-creator functionality is setup manually now with some of our products. i think we'll take the manual road... hope shapeways comes up with an automatic version of the co-creator items or we mention in every product text that they can send a personal message with the details. kind regards, Elco
