Objet, the company that makes the printers that we use for White, Transparent & Black detail is really doing well in the movie business! After effects artists using Objet printers won 3 Oscars now the mega hit bearing down on all of us: Iron Man 2, uses them also. Fast Company has the entire story & on Gizmodo there is a interview with the guy that actually made Iron Man.
To make Tony Stark’s 3D printed glove they uses on of the same machines we also use, the Objet Eden. The paintwork though is stunning and really shows what some paint can do to a 3D printed model!
