Phoenix3022 The mount is designed to fit with the standard speaker screws and oriented with the P facing towards the coil. Can be used with the existing speaker dust cover in place and inserting a slim strip of foam or rubber to fill the little gap between my mount and the shaft or for a tighter fit you can remove the Atpro speaker dust cover as it only covers the speaker which is a sealed unit.. Removing the existing speaker cover does not affect the control box's waterproofing
