My modeling focus is the early years of railroading. Perhaps I just like making my life difficult, but when you model this era you have very limited choices. As time goes by I expect to add more or perhaps refine what I have available.
The TM Deal in the header picture is a Central Vermont Rail Road locomotive from the 1870s/1880s. It was made with a Rivarossi Genoa that has had many of the detail parts replaced. All the detail on top of the boiler, the windows in the cab, the pilot truck, medallion between the drivers, and the tender trucks are all new and specific in design to the Central Vermont. The tender trucks are designed for stub end wheels from Precision Scale Models. The entire kit to do this available here. (except the tender wheels)
