About
I was introduced to Origami at a young age when my dad used to fold paper hats for me from the newspapers he had read. It always fasciinated me how much fun could be had from a flat piece of ordinary paper. Later as I learned more about the art I would create different animals, gift boxes and other designs. By using more ornate papers I would make finer Origami models, once decorating a Christmas tree entirely of Origami birds.Others would say it was too difficult to learn to fold the designs and that they could be easily damaged because of the paper material. I am glad to now share what I have learned with you by offering you my favorite designs. I first fold the models myself and then adapt them as solids on my computer for 3D Printing here at Shapeways.. They are available in many different sizes and durable materials as well as precious metals for your enjoyment and for presenting as fine gifts.
