maotura I was hoping to find someone had designed the maze necklace this way, it's awesome! I just so much prefer the perfectly round version of the maze- any chance you could make that design, too?
maotura@KSND Yeah, I see, yours looks much higher quality. What are lapidary inserts? Tried googling that phrase and couldn't figure it out! You make a great point about nail polish being way easier - which lead me to think of a crushed stone inlay! That would be MUCH easier but still have the clear/glassy effect I want. I'll be sure to send you pics!
maotura@KSND Rad! Is this the same model once sold via ThinkGeek?
Thanks, I'll go for the regular polished silver then. My only other question would be if you have any experience/advice for adding stones. I discovered this lovely charm: https://www.josephjewelry.com/bracelets/custom-bracelet-charm-101163 but they want $780 for it to be made in silver! Ridiculous. I've found small heart-shaped tourmaline gems online ( very cheap!) I'm thinking I'll just need to use a dremel and deepen the heart insets to fit stones, IF I can locate gems small enough.
maotura I love this!! But "Officially-licensed"?
Any insights on how the "polished silver" vs. "fine detail polished silver" will turn out?
