Product Description

The Halcyon class was a series of British minesweepers which served from the 1930s up to the end of the 1950s. Their life was quite eventful, especially during the Second World War. Other than their primary purpose, mine clearing, they perfomed a variety of roles: convoy escorts, rescue ships, troop transports, survey ships.

The parts included are: one mast, one bow crane, two anchor capstans, minesweeping gear comprising a large capstan, two cranes and two oropesa, a tear-shaped streamlined body attached to the minesweeping cable.
