The Dutch Design Week is a major art and design fair in the Netherlands. It lasts for a crazy 9 days and of course we’ll be present once again as well! Our theme this year is ‘From Design to Reality’. Our focus will be on producing and selling your own designs.
This year we’ve had help from none other than Michiel Cornelissen, who dressed up our 32m2 booth with his 30 pencil icosahedron. We’ll also feature other work by Michiel, as well as designs from Nervous System and Stijn van der Linden (Virtox) on our booth.
Michiel and Stijn will also be present to help us out, so come on over and say hi to everyone!
Here are the details:
- Date: October 23 – October 31.
- Time: Daily from 12.00 – 18.00
- Location: Stijp S, Eindhoven, Hall 2
hi Bart, it’s Nervous System, no S.
thanks for including us!
Oops, my bad! Fixed.
thanks 🙂
do you think you will do anything for ICFF in NYC next year? love to help out if you do.
I don’t think we’ve planned anything yet. Then again, it’ll be just around the corner 😉 We’ll be in touch!

Can you visit the building of Shapeways? Visit the machines and such?
I am planning to visit 🙂
You can visit our office, but it’s really quite boring 😉 The printers are at another location..
Jus twondering, are you having these casted in silver in NewYork City?>
I don’t think so. It doesn’t really matter *where* we make them though, does it? 😉

The country of manufacture may make a difference to whether or not duties are payable when items are delivered. If the item is manufactured in the U.S. or Canada, for instance, no duties should be payable when importing it to those countries.
Yes that’s true. We’re working towards opening more production centers so we can speed up delivery and reduce taxes for everyone. It may take some time though 😉

Hi Mike,
hmm no I don’t think so. Although we’ll certainly post a report on our blog with pictures! Is there anything specific you’d like us to focus on in that post?
