1) It is best to buy it one size larger than your normal ring size. The firing process can shrink the ring to a small degree.
2) Like other jewelry, some people may experience a discoloration of the skin. If this happens to you, apply a thin layer of clear nail polish or wax on the inside edge of the ring.
