Tlaloc (Nahuatl: “He Who Makes Things Sprout”) is the god of rain, thunder and lighting. One of the two main Aztec deities in the Great Temple of Tenochtitlan. Tlaloc is also one of the most ancient gods in Mesoamerica, and his iconography can be found in many cultures.
