Product Description
The second of three components for your Keck Telescope Scale Model.  This is the entire lower part of the Keck Telescope model optical assembly, excluding the reflective mirrors. This piece is compatable with the laser-cut paper Keck Telescope SCI Kit (http://spacecraftkits.com/Keck.html), and it replaces a total of 21 of the kit's laser-cut paper pieces including the lower telescope tube assembly, mirror cell upper, middle, and bottom, the tertiary tower and tertiary mirror cell, the elevation ring, and the elevation bearing. The paper kit's laser-cut metallic-finished Primary Mirror may be installed in this piece. Scale approximately 1:170.

For the whole 3D-printed Keck model, order this Keck Lower, plus one Keck Upper, plus one Keck Pier. Also use the foil-printed, laser-cut Primary Mirror piece which is part of the laser-cut paper model from  www.spacecraftkits.com. For more realism, add some reflective material, such as silver ink, to the small, slanted oval Tertiary Mirror piece visible through the elevation ring.
