1/72 scale hatch for the lindberg I-53 submarine.
The hatches on this kit are very big indeed, this kit is a more to scale hatch, with a circular deck flange to fill the enormous hole in the deck.
The hatch and hinge are separate and attached by inseting a 0.4mm brass rod through the hinges. The hatch assembly is them pushed into a recess in the hatch flange.
