The
angle is in degrees, clockwise from horizontal. (Default is horizontal)
The
loop size can be customised to the connector of your choice. However, unless you know why you're changing it, I recommend that you stick with the default, which is 3 mm.
Jump rings are small loops of metal that you bend into place (and ought to solder).
Split rings are the spiral loop of metal that you wind keys onto.
If you really want to change it, you specify the size of the hole :
- 2 mm - this is large enough for a jump ring.
- 3 mm - this should accommodate most links, including split rings
- 4 mm - extra large
- 0 - select this only if you don't want a connection loop at all.
Known issues
To get the shape of the number zero you need to add a second, non-numeric character, for example "0."
I have taken this product out of beta because I have now successfully printed four different patterned letters. Any problems you experience are likely to be due to glitches in Shapeways ordering process. Please let both me and Shapeways know if that happens.
