Product Description
This is a pair of HO scale Arch Bar, swing motion tender trucks, modeled after those on a Southern Ry. A-7 0-6-0. The wheel base os 5'2", and the bolster is at the standard NMRA height of 5/16" above the ral when using 33" wheels.
The trucks are made in two halves, which are designed to rotate together, allowing the truck to flex and adapt to less than perfect track. Each side frame pivots around the surface of the bolster, and can rotate 5 degrees in either direction. This allows the truck to handle just over 5 scale inches (just over 60 thou or 1.5 mm actual) of vertical irregularity.
