Omni Scale General Augmented Mobile Logistics Base

The Mobile Logistics Base is not actually mobile; a better term would be “portable.” It consists of six pods arranged in a six-pointed star pattern. It can be broken down and moved by tugs, light tactical transports, or freighters.

These include four cargo pods and two “system” pods; the system pods include crew quarters, power, sensors, weapons, communications, and other equipment. Such bases were key to the war as they were the only practical way to extend or repair a supply network, and the only practical way to build a base station or larger base was to build a mobile base and then upgrade it over time with more mass.

Mobile bases expected to actually function as military bases were given two of the base augmentation pods (various types exist) that were added to other kinds of bases to provide specialized equipment for their particular mission.

This base is available in a variety of materials. Bases are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
